My name is Steve Rich, and I’ve lived and worked in Bergen County since 1981. I started this business young, with a shovel and a promise to do right by my neighbors. More than 40 years later, I still show up with that same mindset — only now with a fully licensed crew, vacuum trucks, and NJDEP-certified reporting specialists.

My background? A mix of science, engineering, and a lifelong respect for the land we live on. I studied at Seton Hall, Montclair State, Rutgers, and a few other campuses along the way — but my real education came from thousands of job sites and clients who trusted me with their homes and properties.

When I’m not on-site or inspecting reports, you’ll find me cooking up a storm (I met my wife while shopping for ingredients on Arthur Ave.), walking my dog Ally, or fishing off Montauk. This business is personal — and when you hire us, you’re not just getting a contractor. You’re getting a neighbor who takes pride in every job, no matter how tough.

We have been in business for 45 plus years with our group of companies. All of them have been within the North Jersey area. I still speak to my first client from when I was 18 back in 1981, and recently helped them solve an issue at their restaurant. We recently figured out that I have worked for over 20,000 of my neighbors.
